Volkstanzgruppe Weisse Alpen

Folk dancing in German speaking countries is still very important in modern

society as well as being an enjoyable leisure activity.

Our group, 'Volkstanzgruppe Weisse Alpen' are dedicated to promoting the

German and Austrian culture through traditional music and dance.

Most of the dances that we perform are from the German state of Bavaria, and also Austria.

We often get requests to perform at private parties, weddings, corporate

functions, schools and even other German clubs.

If you are interested in this traditional style of entertainment, and physical activity,

maybe you should join us!

The dance lessons are free to club members, and people of all ages are welcome.

We practice every Tuesday night 7:00 to 9:30PM. [Except for mid December till end of January; our Christmas break.]
